The answer is simple. Junior Amateur Golf Scholars (JAGS Junior Tour) has been hosting monthly nationally ranked junior golf tournaments for over eight years. JAGS Junior Tour is a fully- accredited 501 c (3) nonprofit public benefit organization
established to help boys and girls develop mental and physical skills required for local, regional and national junior golf competition. JAGS Junior Tour is dedicated to providing junior golfers ages 12 - 18, an opportunity to increase their love of the game and improve their skills through a year round junior golf program with nationally ranked 36-hole no cut tournaments. The Membership year begins on September 1st and ends August 31st of each year.

To service the needs of junior golfers, JAGS Junior Tour will have three (3) membership packages for the 2008/09 up-coming season:

Gold - 3.0 Grade Point Average

Membership is not required to participate on the JAGS Junior Tour and non-members are welcomed to play. Members receive tournament priority entry and pay lower tournament entry fees. All players participating on the JAGS Junior Tour must have their Proof-of-Age documentation on file with JAGS Junior Tour prior to being accepted to play in their first JAGS Junior Tour Tournament. Membership for the 2008-2009 season will open on July 1, 2008. Players who want to play in JAGS tournaments in June, July and August, 2008 may register for membership for the remaining 2007-2008 season and play as a member or they may register for tournament play as a non-member. Membership fees are based on the membership package the player receives and not by the number of tournament they play in. Membership fees are not prorated.
Tournaments are scheduled on weekends and during legal school holidays to avoid players missing school or their school or CIF matches held during the week. Weekday tournaments are held during the summer months in June, July and August. All tournaments are nationally ranked by JGS with all scores reported to Golfweek, AJGA, and national/local golf medias. Tournament entry fees include daily green fees, range balls, lunch, awards and on course water and snacks. Tournament and membership registrations are only accepted on-line through the JAGS Junior Tour secure website at: www.jagstour.com.
