Junior
Amateur Golf Scholars (JAGS) is a fully- accredited
501 c (3) nonprofit organization established to help young men
and women develop mental and physical skills required for golf
competition during Jr./Sr. High School and beyond. JAGS
is dedicated to providing both boys and girls ages 12 - 18, an
opportunity to increase their love of the game and Improve
their skills through a year round junior golf program in
California.
JAGS is
committed to providing junior golfers an opportunity
participate in
one and two-day no cut tournaments teaching the
true meaning of golf -
integrity - discipline - honor - leadership - sportsmanship
JAGS
has established college financial assistance to help qualified
JAGS members realized their dreams to continue their
educations after high school through an academic scholarship
program based on the availability of contributions and
corporate funding.
Junior
Amateur Golf Scholars offers players a variety of
membership levels to meet every junior golfer’s need.
The Gold
Scholar Membership • The Silver
Scholar Membership • The Bronze
Scholar Membership • The Out-of-State Associate Player
Annually,
JAGS will honor Player(s) of the Year from the JAGS
Gold Scholar Membership plan for their outstanding
educational and golf achievements along with announcing the
JAGS Western All-Star Team. Accomplishments of JAGS’
Full Scholar Members will be available to collegiate golf
coaches, when requested.
All JAGS
tournament participant’s scores will be reported to national
and local golf medias.
All contributions are welcomed and are tax
deductible.
