Memberships will be processed but will not be activated until all required documents are received, reviewed and approved. These documents are as follows:
- All NEW members on the JAGS Junior Tour must submit a clean and readable copy of their certified state or county birth certificate or a copy of their valid passport to JAGS Junior Tour by either fax or mail before membership will be fully activated.
- All Gold and Silver members are required to remit a copy of their June, 2009 official report card or
a copy of their complete school transcript showing their final grades through June, 2009. Grades are to be submitted again at the end of each official grading period during the 2009/2010 school year as follows:
Semester Grading System:
- Players are to remit a single report card or their complete school transcript two (2) times per year at the completion of each semester.
- Last day to remit grades for the first semester: March 1st
- Last day to remit year-end grades: July 1st
Quarter Grading System:
- Players are to remit a single report card or their complete school transcript three (3) times per year at the completion of each quarter
- Last day to remit grades for the first quarter: December 15th
- Last day to remit grades for the second quarter: March 30th
- Last day to remit year-end grades: July 10th
Home schooled students:
- Home schooled students are under the same reporting requirements as students on the semester reporting system.

Out-of-State Players who choose not to join the JAGS Junior Tour as an Gold – Silver or Bronze members will be considered a Non-Member and may sign up to play in any tournament under the non-member entry fee providing their Proof of Age documentation is on file with the JAGS Junior Tour.
Membership is not required to play on the JAGS Junior Tour. Non-Members are welcomed to play providing their Proof-of-Age documentation is received and approved prior to the entry deadline of the first tournament they play in. Members have priority tournament entry over non-members and pay a reduce entry fee into all JAGS Junior Tour tournaments.
To service the
needs of junior golfers, JAGS has provided three
membership levels:
Gold
–
3.0 Grade Point
Average Required*
Silver
- 2010 Grads Only – 3.0 Grade Point Average Required*
Bronze
– No Grade

* Information on how submitted grades are calculated and the procedure on how to submit grades are listed under the membership link at

Should a Gold or Silver member’s single semester or quarter grades falls below the required 3.0 gpa, a copy of the member’s complete school transcript will be accepted for overall gpa calculation purposes.
Should a Gold or Silver member’s single semester or quarter grades fall below the required 3.0 gpa and their complete school transcript reports their over-all gpa is also below a 3.0 gpa, the player will be placed on Academic Probation.
Gold or Silver members placed on Academic Probation may submit additional grades during the current grading period (progress grades) within 5 days after receipt for consideration to be temporarily removed from academic probation until final grades are received at the end of the grading period.
Please Note: Players placed on academic probation may sign up for tournaments anytime while on academic probation at the Bronze tournament entry fee level (no gpa required) until their gpa is back to required status of 3.0 or higher and approved by JAGS Junior Tour. Bronze level entry fees received for upcoming tournaments for players on academic probation will not be credited back to the Gold or Silver level if the entry fee is received and processed before updated grades are remitted and the player removed from academic probation. JAGS Junior Tour does closely monitor and verifies entry fees prior to approval to confirm the proper entry fee level was selected according to the player’s membership level and gpa status. JAGS Junior Tour reserves the right to change an entry fee to the proper fee level if deemed necessary for proper membership level or academic reasons.
2010 Gold
Membership: Boys and girls age 12-18 who maintain a 3.0 or higher grade point average (gpa) while in school. Gold members have an opportunity to earn bonus tournament points for post season honors at the annual awards banquet providing they meet the following criteria’s:
- Proof of Age documentation is on file
and approved by JAGS Junior Tour.
- Participate and complete a minimum of 5
tournaments including 1 major during the
current season.
- Maintain a grade point average of 3.0 or
higher during the current season.
- Submit an official report card or
complete school transcript not later than 10
days after the completion of each official
semester or quarter reporting period.
Gold Membership includes –
First priority tournament entry up until 5pm on the tournament cancellation date, Bag Tag, Golf Specialty Items, Golf Hat/Visor, Golf Apparel, On-line Ping American College Golf Guide, current USGA Rules of Golf Book, 1yr. subscription to a golf magazine, JGS rankings, JAGS Newsletter, Member’s attendance at the Players Award Dinner Banquet for Free, and the lowest entry fees to all JAGS Junior Tour tournaments. Results will be sent to college golf programs and press releases to designated area media as requested by the Gold member.
Gold members who are 2010 graduating students may apply for a 2010 JAGS Junior Tour Academic Scholarship providing they meet or exceed the GPA requirements and grades are submitted as required and play in and complete a minimum of 5 tournaments including one major during the current tournament season.

2010 Silver
Membership:
(Silver memberships are for 2010 graduating high school seniors only.) This membership level is restricted to junior golfers (boys & girls) 12-18* yrs old who will complete high school and graduate in 2010. Silver members are required to maintain a 3.0 or higher grade point average (GPA) while in school.
*Players who turn 19 during their senior year in high school may continue to play in tournaments on the JAGS Junior Tour through the end of the 2010 tournament season (August 31st) providing they do not report to college before August 1, 2010.
To earn bonus points during tournament play and be eligible for post season honors at the year-end annual awards banquet, Silver members are required to meet the following criteria’s:
- Proof of Age documentation is on file
and approved by JAGS Junior Tour.
- Participate and complete a minimum of 5
tournaments including 1 major during the
current season.
- Maintain a grade point average of 3.0 or
higher during the current season.

2010 Bronze
Membership:

*Post season Honors at the annual awards banquet not available to Bronze members: Academic Honors, Player or Rookie of the Year Honors, Selection to the Western All-Star Team, or Spirit of Golf Award.
Bronze Membership includes –
Second priority tournament entry up until 5pm on the tournament cancellation date, Bag Tag, Hat / Visor, Golf Specialty Item, current USGA Rules of Golf Book, JGS Rankings, JAGS Newsletter, Member’s attendance at the Players Award Dinner Banquet Free, and reduced tournament entry fee.
