2009 Academic Scholarship Program
Application will be available for download December 1, 2008.

Qualifications:
 
1. Applicant must be a high school student who is eligible for graduation in June 2009.
2. Applicant must be an eligible Gold or Silver Member of JAGS and participated in a minimum of 5 JAGS tournaments during the 2008/09 season and be a member in good standing, including 1 major tournament.
3. Applicant must have a 3.0 or higher grade point average with first semester grades on file with JAGS Junior Tour by the required reporting deadline.
4 Applicant should demonstrate sustained outstanding effort during high school in school clubs and leadership programs.
5. Applicant should have demonstrated service to their community.
6. Applicant must enroll in an accredited Vocational or Technical School, Community College, 4 year College or University the following fall after graduation from High School.

Selection Process:

Each application will be reviewed and judged by the Academic Scholarship Committee for consideration. High school athletics and potential athletics in college is not a consideration for this award. This award is based on high school achievements in academics, school clubs, leadership programs, and service to their community. Scholarship recipient(s) will be notified by mail before June 30, 2009. The actual scholarship award will be presented to the recipient(s) in early August at the JAGS Annual Players Awards Banquet after the completion of the 2008 / 2009 season.
