Qualifications:
- Applicant must be a high school student who is eligible for graduation, June 2012.
- Applicant must be an 2011-2012 eligible Gold member in good standing on the JAGS Tour and complete a minimum of 3 JAGS Tour Open Tournaments during the 2011/2012 tournament season, PLUS either 1 major or 1 double major tournament for a total of 4 completed tournaments during the 2011/2012 tournament schedule.
- Applicant must have a 3.0 or higher grade point average with first semester grades on file with JAGS Tour by the required reporting deadline and submit final grades on or before July 1, 2012.
- Applicant should have demonstrated outstanding academic effort during high school.
- Applicant should have been active in school activities, leadership programs and service to their community.
- Applicant must enroll in an accredited Vocational or Technical School, Community College, 4 Year College or University the following fall after graduation from High School.
Selection Process:
Each application will be reviewed and judged by the Academic Scholarship Committee for consideration. High school athletic accomplishments and potential participation in athletics at college is not a consideration for this award. This award is solely based on high school achievements in academics, school clubs and activities, leadership programs, and service to their community. Scholarship recipient(s) will be announced by June 30, 2012. The actual scholarship award will be presented to the recipient(s) in early August at the JAGS Tour Annual Players Awards Banquet after the completion of the 2011/2012 season.
