MEMBERSHIP FEES ARE NON REFUNDABLE FOR ANY REASON AFTER PAYMENT HAS BEEN PROCESSED.

Once a junior golfer’s membership fee is processed by credit card, check, or cash, the membership fee will not be refunded for any reason. Players who have been approved for membership but do not have their current required paperwork on file and approved WILL NOT be approved for tournament play until all required paperwork is submitted. Once a player receives their online ID number and password they may register for tournament participation but their tournament registration will be left in a pending mode for processing until all required paperwork is submitted and approved. Once paperwork has been received, reviewed and approved all tournament registration entry fees held in a "Pending" status will be processed providing there is space available in the tournament they are registering to play in.

Non-Members: Non-Members are welcomed to register and play in all non-invitational tournaments for players 12-19** years old on the JAGS Tour providing their Proof-of-Age document is submitted and approved prior to the entry deadline of the first tournament they play in. JAGS Tour Gold and Bronze members will have priority tournament entry over a non-member’s tournament entry registration. Members on the JAGS Tour will pay reduced entry fees into all JAGS Tour open and invitational tournaments.

All NEW members on the JAGS Tour, regardless of their membership level, are required to submit a clean and readable copy of their certified state or county birth certificate or a copy of their valid passport to the JAGS Tour by fax (562) 493-2487, E-mail: jagstour@verizon.net, or by mail to: JAGS Tour, PO Box 172, Cypress, CA 90630 before any pending tournament registrations are approved and processed.

To service the needs of junior golfers, the JAGS Tour has three (3) membership levels:

  1. Advance Gold Membership (New or Renewal*) – 12-19** yrs. old (3.0 GPA Requirement)
  2. Advance Bronze Membership – 12-19** yrs. old (No GPA Requirement)
  3. Intermediate Membership – 10-11 yrs. old *** (No GPA Requirement)

* Renewal Gold Memberships are only for players who were Advance Gold Members in good standing during the 2010/2011 membership year.

** Players who turn 19 during their senior year in high school may continue to play in tournaments on the JAGS Tour through the end of the 2012 tournament season (August 31st) providing they do not report to college before August 1, 2012.

*** Intermediate Membership is required for intermediate tournament participation.

Advance

2012 Advance Gold (New or Renewal) Membership: Boys and girls age 12-19** who maintain a 3.0 or higher grade point average (gpa) while in school. Gold members have an opportunity to earn bonus tournament points for post season honors at the annual awards banquet providing they meet the following criteria’s:

  1. Proof of Age documentation is on file and approved by JAGS Tour.
  2. Register to play in and complete a minimum of 3 Open Tournaments PLUS either one (1) major tournament or one (1) double major tournament for a total of 4 completed tournaments during the 2011-2012 tournament schedule.
  3. Maintain a grade point average of 3.0 or higher during the current season.
  4. Submit a copy of the Gold Member's official report card or complete school transcript to the JAGS Tour not later than 10 days after the completion of each official semester, quarter or trimester grade reporting period.

Advance Gold (New or Renewal) Membership Package Includes but not limited to the following:
First priority tournament entry up until 5pm on the tournament cancellation date, Gold Academic Bag Tag, Golf Specialty Items, Golf Hat/Visor, Golf Apparel, On-line Ping American College Golf Guide, current USGA Rules of Golf Book, 1yr. subscription to a golf magazine, JGS rankings, TRC rankings, Golfweek rankings (when applicable), JAGS Tour Newsletter, Member’s attendance at the Players Award Dinner Banquet at the end of the season at no charge, and Gold Members on the JAGS Tour pay the lowest entry fees to all JAGS Tour tournaments. Results will be sent to college golf programs and press releases to designated area media as requested by the Gold member.

Advance Gold Members (New or Renewal) who are 2012 graduating seniors may apply for a 2012 JAGS Tour Academic Scholarship providing they meet or exceed the GPA requirements and they submit their official grades on time after each official grading period as required and play in and complete a minimum of 3 Open Tournaments PLUS either one (1) major tournament or one (1) double major tournament for a total of 4 completed tournaments during the 2011-2012 tournament schedule.

New Gold Membership Fee:

$200.00 (Early Bird Registration July 1st – July 31st)
$250.00 (After July 31st)

Renewal Gold Membership Fee: $175.00 (Early Bird Registration July 1st – July 31st)
$225.00 (After July 31st)

Should a Gold (New or Renewal) member’s single semester or quarter grades fall below the required 3.0 gpa, a copy of the member’s complete school transcript will be accepted for overall gpa calculation purposes.

Should a Gold (New or Renewal) member’s single semester or quarter grades fall below the required 3.0 gpa and their complete school transcript reports their over-all gpa is also below a 3.0 gpa, the player will be placed on Academic Probation.

Gold (New or Renewal) members placed on Academic Probation may submit additional grades during the current grading period (progress grades) within 5 days after receipt for consideration to be temporarily removed from academic probation until final grades are received at the end of the next official grading period.

Important: Gold (New or Renewal) members placed on academic probation may register and play in JAGS Tour tournaments anytime while on academic probation but are required to register at the Bronze tournament entry fee level (no gpa required) until their gpa is back to required status of 3.0 or higher and approved by JAGS Tour. Bronze level entry fees received for upcoming tournaments for players on academic probation will not be credited back to the Gold tournament fee level if the entry fee is received and processed before updated grades are remitted and the player removed from academic probation. JAGS Tour closely monitors and verifies entry fees prior to approval to confirm the proper entry fee level was selected according to the player’s membership level and gpa status.

Please note: If a player/parent/guardian registers a player to play in a JAGS Tour tournament under the WRONG membership tournament entry fee level, the JAGS Tour reserves the right to change the entry fee amount to reflect the player's correct tournament entry fee level or for academic reasons.

2011 Advance Bronze Membership: Boys and girls 12-19** years old. There is no minimum grade (GPA) requirement for this membership level. Bronze members have the opportunity to receive limited post season honors* providing they meet the following criteria(s):

  1. Proof of Age documentation is on file and approved by JAGS Tour.
  2. Register to play in and complete a minimum of 3 Open Tournaments PLUS either one (1) major tournament or one (1) double major tournament for a total of 4 completed tournaments during the 2011-2012 tournament schedule.

The following post season honors presented at the annual awards banquet are not available to Bronze members: Academic Honors, Player of the Year Honors, Rookie of the Year Honors, Selection to the All-Star Team, or Spirit of Golf Award.

**Players who turn 19 during their senior year in high school may continue to play in tournaments on the JAGS Tour through the end of the 2012 tournament season (August 31st) providing they do not report to college before August 1, 2012.

Advance Bronze Membership includes –
Second priority tournament entry up until 5pm on the tournament cancellation date, Silver (Non-Academic) Bag Tag, Hat / Visor, Golf Specialty Item, current USGA Rules of Golf Book, JGS Rankings, TRC Rankings, Golfweek Rankings (when applicable), JAGS Tour Newsletter, Member’s attendance at the Players Award Dinner Banquet at the end of the season at no charge, and will pay reduced entry fee to all JAGS Tour tournaments.

Advance Bronze Membership Fee:

$225.00 (Early Bird Registration July 1st – July 31st)
$275.00 (After July 31st)

Intermediate

2012 Intermediate Membership: Boys and girls 10-11 years old. There is no minimum grade (GPA) requirement for this membership level. Proof of Age documentation is required to be on file with JAGS Tour before the member will be approved for *tournament registration and participation. Intermediate members are eligible to receive "Post Season Honors" at the JAGS Tour Annual Players Award Banquet held at the end of each membership / tournament season providing they register to play in and complete a minimum of 3 intermediate tournaments during the 2011/2012 tournament schedule.

Intermediate tournament participation requires the player to be an Intermediate Member on the JAGS Tour.

Intermediate members will play 18-holes at each tournament. Registration for 36 or 54-hole tournaments is not available to players under the age of 12 years old.

Intermediate play will only be held on the first day of each tournament with Intermediate player's tee times scheduled after the advance players have cleared the first tee at each tournament site. If the tournament is a shotgun start, the Intermediate level players will be grouped and assigned to play the hole directly behind the advance players. When available, all intermediate groups will have an official scorer/marker verifying the player’s scores. Official scorers/markers are not permitted to give advice or rulings unless they are a tournament official.

Player’s code of conduct, Parents and Spectators Code of Conduct, and all tournament rules and requirements apply to all JAGS Tour tournament players, parents and guest regardless of the level the player is competing in.

Intermediate members are not permitted to play up from this level to the Advance Tournament Level until they reach the age of 12 years old. Players may move up to the Advance Tournament Level during the month they turn 12. Membership of an intermediate player will terminate 30 days after the player turns 12 years old. Intermediate members may upgrade from an Intermediate Membership to either an Advance Gold Membership or Advance Bronze Membership the month the player turns 12 years old and depending on the membership package they select, documents may be needed to finalize their new membership level.

Membership Bag Tag, Hat / Visor, Large Player’s Golf Towel, current USGA Rules of Golf Book, JAGS Tour Newsletter and Member’s attendance at the Players Award Dinner Banquet at the end of the season at no charge.
