
Spectating is a privilege that may be granted by the host facility and JAGS Tour. If host facility permits spectators, JAGS Tour Tournament Committee will make the final decision to allow or not allow spectators. All decisions are final.
- Release Form: All spectators must read and sign a release form when spectating is permitted and pay all fees if applicable before walking onto course.
- Spectating Age: Spectators must be at least 9 years old. Age verification may be required by JAGS Tour. Spectators 9-13 years old must be accompanied by an adult at all times.
- Cell Phones: Guest, Spectator and Family member’s cell phones must be in the OFF position during tournament play except for an on course ruling request or for an emergency situation.
- Language: English is the only language permitted at JAGS Tour tournaments. Players who talk in their native language during tournament play and before being released from the official scoring committee at the end of their round will be accessed a 2 stroke penalty. Players may not talk with other players, family members, guest or spectators until being released from the tournament scoring committee after their round is completed.
- Advice: is any counsel or suggestion which could influence a player in determining his play, the choice of a club or the method of making a stroke. In addition, any conversation between parent/spectator may be construed as advice. This includes any conversation between player/spectator in their native language. In either instance penalty for breach of this rule is two strokes. Players are responsible for the actions of their relatives and spectators in regards to this rule.
- Spectators are allowed to carry medicine, umbrellas, etc. however the use of drugs, consumption of alcohol, smoking or chewing tobacco products while spectating at a JAGS Tour tournament is prohibited.
- Parents and guest who enter the golf course during tournament play do so at their own risk. It is clearly understood that the Golf facility and its employees, the JAGS Tour organization and all of it members, directors, agents, escorts, interns, volunteers, employees, owners, successors and assignees are to be free from all liability, claims, or other forms of legal action, including cost arising there from, against any incident which results in or arise out of any loss, property, or personal (death included), which may be sustained by the spectator during any JAGS Tour event.
- For your personal safety, we ask you exercise caution at all times. When inclement weather moves into the area, the JAGS Tour will suspend play by sounding airhorns. Accordingly, you should seek shelter immediately. The JAGS Tour staff will evacuate players from the course first, and then spectators.
Parent / Guardian / Guest / Spectator Spectating Violations are:
- Unsportsmanlike conduct, including abusive language, foul language or motions, touching a player’s equipment, disrespect to volunteers, officials or other competitors in the tournament, or abuse of golf course property.
- Not walking in the rough or on a designated cart path, and maintaining a 50-yard distance between all players during competition. Spectators are not permitted to walk in the fairways with players. Carts are not permitted for spectators.
- Not adhering to the dress code policy while spectating at a JAGS Tour tournament.
- Not signing and adhering to the rules and regulations stipulated on the Spectating Release Form.
- Vandalism at an event site, abusive behavior to event site personnel or their property.
- Under the influence including but not limited to drugs, consuming alcohol, smoking or chewing tobacco products near players or other spectators at a JAGS Tour tournament.
- Parents, spectators and guest may not communicate with any tournament player during tournament play or until players have been released from the official scoring area after each round of play and scores are posted on the official tournament score sheet.
- Parents and spectators may not involve themselves in any decision regarding any situation or rulings during tournament play.
- Parents or spectators may not enter any protest or invoke their opinion(s) at any time.
- Any other conduct not deemed acceptable by a JAGS Tour Tournament Committee.
