Refund Policy
Tournament entry fees are non-refundable for any reason, after the posted tournament cancellation date at 5:00 p.m. Tournament entry fees may not be transferred to another player. Player substitution is prohibited.
A refund request must be submitted in writing via fax or email to JAGS Tour and be received by JAGS Tour before 5pm on the posted tournament cancellation date the player is withdrawing from. Approved refunds are only remitted by check less a $50.00 administrative/e-commerce processing fee per tournament.
ONCE AGAIN: THERE ARE NO REFUNDS for any withdrawals regardless of the reason after the posted tournament cancellation date at 5:00 p.m. This policy is in effect due to the contractual obligations JAGS Tour has with host venues scheduled months in advance. Every JAGS Tour venue requires a guaranteed number of players per each contractual agreement prior to the tournament start date. In order to continue obtaining quality venues, JAGS Tour must honor & respect the venue policies. JAGS Tour venues do not close the entire course down on weekends for JAGS Tour tournaments as golf courses schedule other tournaments and premium play around the number of players given to each course per our contractual agreement prior to the first day of tournament play.
Transfer Policy
A player or parent may request his/her tournament entry fee be transferred to another tournament during the current tournament season providing the following steps are taken:
- Notify JAGS Tour by e-mail or fax of player's intention to withdraw from a tournament and transfer the entry fee to another tournament in the current JAGS Tour season. This notification must be submitted prior to the 5pm posted cancellation date of the tournament the player is transferring from and include the name of the tournament the player is requesting the entry fee transferred to.
- If approved and if space is available in the new tournament, the player will be placed in the tournament and notified by email regarding acceptance into the tournament field. If space is not available in the tournament the player has selected to transfer to, the player may select another tournament in the current season or request a refund less the $50.00 administration/e-commerce fee.
The JAGS Tour tournament season begins on September 1st and ends on August 31st of each year. Transfer of entry fees will not be approved beyond August 31st of the current JAGS Tour season.
Cancellation Policy
Weather Cancellation Policy:
A tournament that completes nine holes by all players is deemed a completed tournament. Therefore, no refund. Rankings are at the discretion of the individual ranking system guidelines: Golfweek, Jr. Golf Scoreboard and AJGA for PBE awards. JAGS Tour will make every effort to complete a minimum of 9 holes placing a priority on safety first.
If a tournament does not complete nine holes, players will be offered to transfer the tournament fee to a future tournament (of the same level) within the current season or may request a refund less the $50 administration/e-commerce fee. There are no complete refunds in a total weather cancellation. In unusual circumstances where JAGS Tour has incurred cost leading up to a complete cancellation, JAGS Tour has the right to recapture expenditures in addition to the $50 administration/e-commerce fee.
Cancellation Other Than Weather:
JAGS Tour will make every effort to reschedule the event and designate on the schedule which event will take the place of the original event. JAGS Tour will make every effort to re-schedule at the same venue if venue conditions/contracts permit. If the event is re-scheduled, players will be offered the opportunity to play with no additional charge or withdraw less a $50 admistration/e-commerce fee. JAGS Tour reserves the right to cancel any tournament due to circumstances out of its control, Act of God/nature or national emergency deemed by any local, State or Federal Government agency.
Withdrawal Policy
Player withdrawal policy during tournament play: Tournament officials will scrutinize every withdrawal by interviewing the player and their playing partners. If it’s determined that a player has withdrawn for reasons other than an injury, illness or family crisis, then it will be considered a violation of the JAGS player’s code of conduct. The player will be suspended and could lose JAGS membership eligibility and/or tournament participation eligibility. When a player makes his or her intention of withdrawing known to tournament officials, the player will again be advised of the policy and the consequences of an unjustified WD.
Players withdrawing from a tournament before the tournament cancellation date: Players withdrawing from a tournament before the tournament cancellation date must contact the JAGS Tour in writing by email or fax not later than 5 p.m., (Approximately 30 days prior to the first day of the tournament) on the cancellation date. If requested, a refund will be remitted only by check less a $50.00 administrative processing fee.
Players withdrawing from a tournament after the tournament cancellation date: Tournament entry fees are not refundable to players who withdraw from a tournament after the tournament cancellation date, regardless of the reason.
Players withdrawing from a tournament the day before or the day of a tournament before play as begun: It is the responsibility of the player or parent to speak with a JAGS Tournament Official personally to withdraw from a tournament the day or night before the tournament or the morning of a tournament. This can be done by calling the course the day of the tournament and asking them to page a JAGS Tour Official or call a JAGS Tournament Official’s cell phone number at the times listed below. Leaving a voice message on the JAGS Tour voice mail, or with a course official will result in a DQ – No Show.

Award Ceremony/Playoffs
Awards will be given to the top finishers at each tournament level in each division. The trophy presentation will take place at the scoreboard immediately following the conclusion of all tournaments. Ties for first place will be decided by a “sudden death” playoff. Non-participation in any sudden death playoff will result in the player being awarded the lower place of finish. Please don’t leave the scoring area if you think you will be in contention for either a playoff for first place or an award for the top finishers in your division.
The tournament director does have the authority to determine all playoffs via scorecard playoff if weather conditions or course availability will prevent or limit a completed sudden death playoff. If a scorecard playoff is instituted, then the playoff will start from the lowest handicap hole for that day of play and work upward until a tie is broken. JAGS Tour will make every effort to conduct “sudden death” playoffs but sometimes circumstances dictate a scorecard playoff.
